Preparedness Classes
A number of local wards, communities, and organizations are hosting preparedness-related classes on a regular basis.

Emergency Radio
The Mount Pleasant Utah North Stake has an active emergency communications team, and we are coordinating with other stakes in the area
to build a network of amateur radio operators that can provide essential communications in times of crisis.
If you are interested in participating, contact Stake emergency communications coordinator Richard Breinholt.
Want to obtain an amateur radio (HAM) license? Visit hamstudy.org to get the training.
For all those interested, a radio meet-up, also known as a “net” is held each Tuesday at 7:00pm at 146.420 simplex.
This will help new users become familiar with their radios and any radio-use protocols.
